Features

Breeding, birth and growth

From cover date to weaning, the line is recorded as it grows.

Breeding records

Cover dates, sire and dam, and heat observations, with expected birth dates calculated for you.

Birth window

The first births of the season are days away. Today and the calendar show who is due, and a female past her date shows as overdue. Push reminders to your phone are coming with the phone apps.

Birth records

Date, live and stillborn counts, and links back to the breeding that produced the litter.

Birth book export

The whole season's births in one PDF or CSV: who kidded, calved, lambed, farrowed, foaled, whelped or hatched, sired by whom, and how each offspring did. A sold dam's births stay in it. One of the herd reports on Pro and Ranch.

Weights & growth

Weight and body-condition over time, with average daily gain where it matters.

Reproduction report card

Fertility, birth spread, and how fast this year's crop is growing, for the whole program rather than one dam at a time. Exportable, and honest about what it could not score. One of the herd reports on Pro and Ranch.

Breed standards & trait profiles

The breed standards for Boer goats (ABGA) and dairy goats (ADGA) are in the app as a reference. On Pro and Ranch, trait profiles record structure, performance, teat quality, and breed correctness against the standard, so breeding decisions are easier to explain and less dependent on gut feel.

The rest of it

Everything here runs in your browser at app.herdable.app, except what is marked as coming with the phone apps. Where a feature needs Pro or Ranch, it says so; the pricing page lists what each plan includes.
