Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your HerdAble account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

From inside the app (fastest)

Open Settings → Delete Account, then confirm. This permanently removes your account credentials and all data associated with your account from our primary database.

From outside the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email privacy@herdable.app from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We verify your identity by sending a confirmation to the email on file, then process the deletion.

What happens when you delete

• Your sign-in credentials and the farm data you entered (animals, health and breeding records, photos, documents, bookkeeping entries) are deleted from our primary database.
• Your feedback reports and feedback screenshots are deleted, including an uploaded screenshot that was never attached to a sent report.
• Deletion from our active systems is immediate. Disaster-recovery backups expire on a rolling schedule, and backup copies containing your data are purged within 365 days of your deletion request.
• We may retain limited information where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes (for example, financial transaction records), and we use it only for those purposes. See the Privacy Policy for details.
